Greetings, kindred ones. For this music video project, I chose to work with my best friend. Her name is Kayla Parrott (Pah-Row). I was exceptionally, happy when I got to work with her. I have many things in common with her, such as an interest in fashion and that thoughts Aline when it comes to ideas. Not only is she a fashionista, she is a kind and understanding person. I’d also say she is just as adventurous as me. We both have a desire to travel, especially, to Japan. She always knows what I’m thinking, I call it the “Bestie Telepathy”. The song of my choice , is 4:00 am by Taeko Onuki. Despite the similarities, with my bestie, music tastes differ, to an extent. This was a song was agreed upon. I found this song on a random Spotify spree. I had ears it many times before on social media but that was the first Time I listened to it in full. It gave a nostalgic, Ghibli studio feel and I fell in love with its melody. Hence, I brought it up for suggestion. Not only do I like the song , it had the whole aesthetic I had in mind. Which was Japan but the around an older time period. Perhaps, the 90s or further back. It sparked my creativity . I found myself, pondering on all the scenes I could add with each lyric.
