 Working on this project was an experience. Learning and exploring my creative abilities is always a great joy.

i used mainly Capcut and canva to make this commercial. Capcut is pretty user friendly. I learnt a lot about editing videos especially ,adding velocity . Creating interesting texts was another thing I got to practice, deciding how I want the text to enter or decide if it should be a loop. Using the fade in and fade out tools to create dramatic effect for the sounds. Overlapping voice over and reducing the noise. Putting this project together was very time consuming but in a good way. Having to go out and take videos and pictures to get the aesthetic and certain shots that I want. Then, having to come up with scripts and intriguing voiceovers. I learnt how to edit texts and audios. Also, posting my first ever YouTube video. This has inspired me to probably continue posting. Consistently, having to make blog posts has shown me how much I actually like blogging. Even though I am proud of my work, there are still something’s I could do better. Such as the quality for some of the videos. Maybe learning how to effectively edit lighting and filters to get a cleaner look. Also, not using so manny effects I feel as though it was overwhelming. I simpler look can be good as well. Learning how to better do velocity and cleaner voice overs, is something I want to work on as well. Aside from that I think the project video wise could hav3 had a more consistent theme, which would have made it look cleaner.

Thiese are my thoughts on this project. It was an exciting and educational experience and I can’t wait for the next project.

Greetings kindred ones, It’s another production blog.

For this blog I'm going to talk to you guys about the creative process behind the intro or first part of my 

commercial . I used the app capcut for all my editing and creation. I started by importing the videos I 

wanted for the intro. They consisted of, a Long shot of me on a catamaran and a close up of me on a plane. 

I then had to go through and cut away the parts I had no use for. After setting each video to my desired 

length, it was time for the background or ambience music. I attempted to download the song of my choice 

"West Coast" by Lana Del Rey . However, I couldn't find the version I wanted. Hence, I had to go and 

record the audio instead. After importing the audio I edited it with the fade in and fade out features the app 

offered. It faded in the beginning, to make way for the voice over of me introducing my self. Immediately, 

after the intro, the audio fades out and then hits full volume to dramatize the rest of the clips. As for 

wording, at the start of the video, the words to my voice over pop up in the font "Vogue" and with the 

typewriter animation. I also, used this same animation for the words at the end of the voice over but with 

the font “Wonder”.

For the Mia-en-scene for some clips, I had to adjust the lighting. They weren’t too clear so I enhanced the 

lighting and added some filters to balance it out. That is all for today. I will continue to work on this

Sometimes, things don’t always go as planned my lovelies. Long story short, I didn’t get to go out on 

Sunday to take all the videos and pictures I wanted. Sigh, on the bright side, I have this weekend as well 

so with good planning and motivation, your girlie might be able to go out this Sunday.

No need to dwell on the negatives, moving along! For this production blog, I’m working on the 

questionnaire for the interview in my commercial. Using Office 365 Quiz, I made a short little 

questionnaire to form my interview. I’ll be sending out the QR code to some close friends and 

acquaintance. I can’t wait to receive their responses! Most of my peers have the same interests as me, so I 

expect only the best of these replies 😆. Currently, I am watching a blog while writing this. It helps me 

keep focused, weird I know. My brain works better when I have multiple things to focus on 

simultaneously. That’s besides the point, watching this vlog, has me thinking of doing my commercial in 

that format with voiceovers. It would be like a “Spend a day with me vlog” but more cuts and obviously, 

more like a commercial.

I’ll also, start looking through the videos that I have from my instagram to see which ones I could pull. I 

took a trip to New York last year and trips to Jamaica and Bahamas this year. I have so many pieces of 

media from those trips, enough to start my own YouTube channel (secretly planning to do that 😉 ). 

Those would be a good start with editing and compiling.

I was thinking of incorporating some of my art works and designs as well. Simply, because my art and 

designs are my personality, they are not only a huge part of who I am but how I want others to see me as 

well. I express myself through my art. I’m a girl of little words, but lots of pictures 😂 a picture speaks

 Greetings again my precious readers. I am back, your fashionista, with another production blog. With 

no hesitation, let’s get into it, shall we ?😉 In the last blog, i mentioned, a scripted interview, I was 

planning to incorporate . Well I have been re thinking that  Instead, of it being scripted, i want it to be 

real…authentic. How would I achieve this you ask?Well, outside factors of course. I would ask my 

peers ““Hey ! If you had to meet a big fashion icon, what are some of the questions , you would ask 

them?”

They would then record their answer without my knowledge of what the question couldbe. This will 

just go on and on until I feel like I have a sufficient  amount for an interview. Also, for my lovely, 

interviewer, it will be my best friend of course ! Since, we plan to go out and work on our projects, 

because the company of 2 is always better than one 😌. With her bright personality, and great fashion 

sense (she’s my bestie after all) she p,would make the perfect, interviewer. Overall, with this method I 

am completely, oblivious to the questions being asked, hence, a more authentic reaction. On the same 

note, I have been studying other fashion interviews in preparation for my own. Big names such as 

Anna Wintour, CoCo Chanel…and even one of my favorite fashion anime “Paradise Kiss”. I study 

there actions, what they wear, their attitude and so forth. However, I don’t mention this to say I want 

to be a complete replica of them. No! It’s good to have inspiration, which is exactly, what this is. It 

always be bedazzled to have my own taste, because would I be your fashionista if I couldn’t do that 

much ✨. That’s really all that I focused on today. Sunday, is quickly, approaching, so I need to 

prepare for my little educational (but still fun of course) trip around town, to collect more pictures and 

videos. With that being said my lovelie, it’s time for me to skiddadle.

Production Blog - AICE Media studies

It’s a new dawn and a new day my readers.

This blog is going to be the first of four production blogs for 

this commercial project.Decisions on where to film have 

plagued my mind and of course how to get there 😓. I’ve had 

some places in mind to go out and do a little photo shoot. That 

iconic statue of a woman down by Las Olas, is a Great start. 

Other places would be Fort Lauderdale beach and an art walk or 

district. Quick little shots by an Italian cafe, the baker 

there is friends with my dad, he gave me a bunch of extra, 

sweet coquettish cookies. The 

Aside from that, I took a short video for my instagram the other day. After some 

thought and editing I really liked the shots that I took and I decided to incorporate   

them into the Ad. They will be added to the West Coast part of the commercial, to 

showcase my different aesthetics. Today, I also began working on the interview 

section for my Commercial. Scripting out the dialogue and the different attitudes 

and facial expressions that should be done for certain parts of the planned 

interview. To spice up the pictures I plan to use in the commercial, they will be 

edited, by yours truly, to be a magazine cover. As for incorporating words into my 

commercial to limit the amount of words I just paste onto a video, I found it more 

intriguing to take videos of different signs or graffiti that will portray what I’m trying 

to say. Deciing what app to use was another process. Ultimately, I decided to use 

cap cut for most of the video editing. Let’s be honest iMovie is not it 😑. For 

creating the magazine covers I used canva and some of my design apps like 

procreate and fashion draw by fashionary. Alas, that is all I did for today. Hopefully, 

on Sunday my best friend and I will be going out to gather more videos and pictures 

for our commercial. That is all for today my lovelies.

Research and Planning Blog- AICE Media Studies

Another day, I’m greeting you with a slay 😘 .

Today I am going to talk about my ideas for my AICE media project, I have to 

make a commercial about myself. Not much research to do here, I feel like I know 

as much about myself as my imagination would allow me…I could argue that my 

grandma might know more about me than myself. That aside, let’s get into it shall 

we. Easiest thing I can start off with is music, I had that ready from the get go. I 

chose Lana del Rey- west coast. When I tell you I LOVE this girl. Her music and 

voice are soft I dare say seraphic. In comparison to the racket of most of todays 

music (nothing personal) I find Lana to be a refreshing pull into my own little 

wonderland of peace. Especially, her song west coast, aside from Brooklyn baby, 

West coast was one of the first songs I listened to by her. her airy voice and the 

soft beat of the instrumental, like an orchestra of God sent musicians. Being 

drowned in the tunes of these lyrics feels like I’m spinning dreamily on the coast of 

a nostalgic, white sandy beach in a Swedish or coastal summer vibe. Okay, I’m 

done blabbering like a psychotic fan 😂. Aside from Lana Del Rey, Fashion- by 

Britney Mason was another great choice. Obviously 🙄, because it perfectly 

represents yours truly 😊.

 Fashion as you all know will forever be a big part of my life. So, having this song in 

my commercial is going to make me feel like a 90s supermodel strutting the runway 

or only the most famous designer greeting their audience on the stage as all the 

models walk by in my designs. For filming, I plan to do a music video mixed with an 

interview. It will be switching between aesthetic poses and short aesthetic clips of 

me simply showing off an outfit or doing a hobby. Then it cuts to a small part of the 

interview. Basically, an edit of myself as a commercial. Some places I have in mind 

are probably, my local beach, museum and other aesthetically pleasing places, like 

night time downtown Fort Lauderdale and maybe if I beg hard enough, my dad will 

take me to Miami 🤭 I just have to play my cards right 😉 .

Look wise I’ll probably aim for a 90s paparazzi kind of vibe or the chipped pictures 

from an old 2000s flip phone or Polaroid pics…yes, lots of Polaroid pics. I want all 

the pictures to have a chic, elegant maybe a little grunge or Streetwear but mostly, 

keeping it classy. But! That’s how my research is looking so far. Until next time my
