Greetings Girlies,
I still have a lot of ideas for my title design so, this will probably change or develop as I venture through this project but for now I will stick to this current design. For this design process, I used Canva to design and curate my titles. They have a lot of fonts and accessible photos and elements, not to mention it is very user friendly.
I chose to use two different fonts for the design. I used the Virtual font for the first headings and Ananias font for the second headings and the title. I think these two fonts compliment each other well and since the virtual font is a small script font it helps the bold sans serif Ananias font stand out to viewers. Not only do I like these fonts, they make the film seem very playful, light and Cherry. Just a little deception for the viewers. They would never expect the story to take a dark turn because here they are judging a book by its cover. This helps to pull readers in and surprise them.
For the background I wanted it to be artistic. The use of water color is to create a light, fantasy like atmosphere. It also, represents the different worlds and sceneries in the film. The words for the first and last title are white and the rest of the titles are in a light grey.
I thought about the best name or title that would be fitting for this film. In the end, I decided to go with the name 6:02. This time is a crucial piece that makes up the film and a valuable symbol.
Each title will be around 2-3 seconds long with the exception of the main title which will be 4-5 seconds long. All titles will have a fade in effect and some will dissolve out but I plan to use more creative effects later on. That’s all for now my lovelies, I’ll surprise you in the next one. ;)
Always and Forever,
Your Fashionista
