Greetings Girlies,
In the previous project I collaborated with my best friend. It was the best experience of
course but in the popular lyrics by Kim Jennie “I’m going Solo.” That’s right, I want to do
this on my own. To be honest I dislike working in groups, I don’t find it hard to adjust and
work with others, however I do find it hard for others to do the same. That is one reason I
tend to stray from group activities.
I have some really good ideas for this project and I would like to execute them without
outside interference. I like creating artworks and pieces that I know I put my time and
effort into and can be proud of. Also, the concept for this project os entirely new to me
and I want to explore its enticing depths on my own. It gives me a chance to learn more
and improve myself. Working alone, makes way for mistakes I can learn from and build
upon my skills, rather than worrying about how it would affect the person working with me.
This choice gives me the opportunity to move at my own speed, while still of course,
meeting deadlines. While working in groups does have its advantages, such as the work
being more manageable if everyone plays their part and having a different feedback from
everyone’s perspective. However, this could be the exact same thing that brings a group
down. Everyone has ideas and all want to be heard and because of this there at times will
be a clash. Especially, with people who strive in creativity and can’t help but spew out ideas left and right.
No man is an island but I believe there is nothing wrong with wanting to manage things
on your own. I believe this shows a persons independence and ability to manage a work load.
Well my lovelies this is it for this blog. I can’t WAIT to start filming and production for the final task. See you around and stay stylish.
Always and forever ,
Your Fashionista.
